Yea joins the store price rise, showing up at other Victorian yards

Sales at another large yarding at Yea reflected rising prices, experienced across other markets throughout the state in recent weeks.

Agents yarded 3305 head of steers, heifers and cows and calves at the Yea Saleyards.

There was strong bidding competition on the first lanes of heavier cattle from Elders Korumburra livestock agent, Don Bowman, Hopkins River feedlot, Dunkeld, J&F, which supplies JBS.

Bidding competition on other lines came from local, Gippsland, Warrnambool and Wangaratta agents as well as Ray White Rural and commission buyer Duncan Brown, Albury, NSW.
