A group of agents formerly employed by Elders is set to yard its first cattle as a new entity at the next Yea store sale on October 3.

Previous employees of the Elders Yea branch, Jamie Quinlan, Ryan Sargeant and Will Phillips, will yard approximately 450 cattle as the newly formed Victorian Livestock & Property (VLP) agency.

They have been joined by former Elders Yea branch manager Bruce Elliot, who retired from the agency in June this year.

The four agents will yard cattle alongside Nutrien and Alex Scott & Staff livestock agents, as well as their former colleagues at Elders.
