Yea Saleyards is the premier livestock sales complex in North Central Victoria, recognised for its quality offering of store cattle, weaners, feature female sales and specialty bull sales.
Ideally positioned with direct access to Melbourne, Gippsland, northern and western Victoria, and interstate transport routes, Yea attracts strong competition from processors and buyers across the region.

Four leading stock agencies operate from Yea Saleyards, each supported by extensive branch networks that ensure broad market reach and excellent buyer participation. Regular feature weaner sales held in January, May and November consistently attract large buying galleries and frequently set Victorian price benchmarks.

Purpose-built to efficiently handle large numbers of livestock, Yea Saleyards combines modern infrastructure with safe cattle handling practices, providing an outstanding experience for vendors, buyers and transport operators alike. The yards hold 4,200 head of weaner cattle or 3,000 head of grown cattle assuring buyers of larger runs of cattle.

Sale days are complemented by a popular on-site canteen and a well-established rural health outreach program, offering free health checks and support services to the farming community.
