Yea store cattle sale softens slightly

There was a slight softening of prices at the March Yea store sale, as producers started to bring forward spring-drop calves.
Agents yarded 2272 head of steers, heifers, cows and calves. Elders Yea livestock manager Jamie Quinlan said agents and restockers were able to step in on the lighter weights.
