Nutrien agents were "extremely happy" with the results of their autumn-drop weaner sale at Yea on Friday.
Calves made similar prices to those at Wodonga and Wangaratta this week, and were better than those seen at Colac on Thursday.
The Nutrien team yarded about 3000 weaners in total.
The tops of the Angus steer calves hit 491 cents a kilogram for a pen sold by the local Cummings family.
They sold 24, 248kg, Pathfinder and Adameluca-blood, 9-10 months, Angus steers for $1220 a head.
