A quality line up of weaner steers at the special Nutrien Yea autumn drop weaner sale on Friday saw cattle head as far north as Queensland.
Nutrien agents yarded almost 3000 cattle at the Yea Saleyards, one of several large sales across the state last week.
The sale included some annual feature lines from across the region and numbers were bumped up by several vendors who opted to turn cattle off early, given the season.
Nutrien auctioneer Tyson Bush said the special November sale would usually see 1800 yarded and the larger 3000 reflected a trend seen elsewhere.
