Thank You to Our Yea Saleyards Community: A Holiday Message

As we wrap up 2025, the Yea Saleyards Committee of Management would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported the saleyards throughout the year.

We’ve seen consistent yardings, strong competition and solid results across many sale days, reflecting the quality stock presented and the confidence of those supporting the market. None of this happens without the commitment of our producers, purchasers, agents, contractors and committee volunteers.

This year brought many changes and challenges, as well as a number of firsts. Highlights include the addition of Alex Scott & Staff and Victorian Livestock & Property agencies to the established local corporates Nutrien Ag Solutions Yea and Elders Yea, the collaborative and positive step forward with the formation of the Yea & District Stock Agents Association.

The yards also continued to play an important role beyond sales, with free health and wellbeing checks offered on sale days — bringing essential services directly to our rural community.

We also acknowledge and thank the Murrindindi Shire Council and the Yea & District Memorial Hospital allied health teams for their ongoing support and collaboration.

To everyone who contributed their time, stock, expertise or support, thank you. Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a safe, happy New Year. We look forward to seeing you back at the saleyards in 2026.
