Fire-affected people can access free stock feed and supplies at the Alexandra Rodeo Grounds on Station Street from 8am to 7pm. Available items include large square, round, and small square hay bales, lucerne chaff and oaten chaff, with fencing materials further down the grounds. Delivery is available at no cost, with the fuel being kindly covered by Ampol. All hay and feed is free for those impacted by fire, and names and addresses will be taken on arrival. Optional donations can be made to Alexandra Events, with funds going toward fencing repairs that are not insured.

Victorian Farmers Federation

VFF is currently coordinating the delivery of free fodder across the state, with transport also arranged. Donations of hay and feed from farmers are greatly appreciated, and volunteer truck drivers are welcome to register via the VFF website. Registered drivers will be paid per kilometre to deliver hay and feed from the pickup point to affected farms. Farmers in immediate financial hardship may be eligible for assistance of up to $1,000. There is no cost to fire-affected farmers. For enquiries or assistance, contact 1300 882 833.
